Social justice organizations have teamed up with Seattle professional athletes to encourage people to vote, especially those from underrepresented communities. Seattle Unite is a group of 21 organizations dedicated to racial and social justice. All condemn acts of intolerance and hate and feel this is a moment to unify their voice. And they say one way for those from marginalized communities to be heard is by voting. Seattle sports stars K.J. Wright of the Seahawks, Jordin Canada of the world champion Storm, and the Sounders Stefan Frei are among the athletes taking part.
