Chief Best + Sheriff Johanknecht
Seattle Police Chief Carmen Best and King County Sheriff Mitzi Johanknecht return to Civic Cocktail to discuss police-community relations, law enforcement in the modern age, and a look at what 2019 holds for the departments - from federally-mandated police reforms to officer recruitment.

Lieutenant Governor Cyrus Habib
When Gov. Jay Inslee is out of state, Lt. Gov. Cyrus Habib is in charge. Habib joins host Joni Balter to discuss his position, unlike any other in Washington state government with duties in both the executive and legislative branches. Blind since age 8, Habib will talk about his journey to public service and his priorities, which include improving access to educational and economic opportunities, with a special focus on removing barriers for people with disabilities and other underrepresented groups.
