In this installment, Seattle Municipal Archives' City Archivist Jeanie Fisher presents a 1938 report and photographs from the Board of Public Works (in collaboration with the City Engineer and Superintendent of Buildings) to determine if independent news and magazine stands should be allowed to remain in downtown Seattle following a complaint letter from a local business owner.
