City of Seattle welcomes 6 new department leaders at swearing‑in ceremony

Mayor Katie B. Wilson, city councilmembers, and other leaders celebrated six new leaders taking their oaths of office on Friday. These departments —spanning economic development, arts and culture, neighborhoods, utilities, public health, and sustainability— serve as the frontline of how Seattle residents experience the city every single day.
