Canlis has long been considered one of the city's finest restaurants with its fabulous view and superb menu. But as COVID-19 claims dozens of Seattle eateries each month, Canlis has been forced to innovate, and its ingenuity has paid off. During our gloomy winters, when Canlis usually thrives, it opened a yurt village providing diners a cozy getaway! This past summer, its burger drive-thru was wildly successful as was its bagel shed and crab shack. Canlis even opened a community college, and 12,000 people enrolled. As Tatevik Aprikyan reports, Canlis is working overtime to stay in business.
