CityStream: Sand Point Cottage Community

Seattle’s Magnuson Park is popular for its beaches, sports fields, and dog park. Soon it’ll also be home to residents of a newly designed housing project. The Sand Point cottage community features 22 small structures clustered around a commons building. This project is similar to tiny house villages, with one big exception. This project has been years in the making and was a collaborative effort by city, state, private, and nonprofit partners. Producers David Albright and Enrique Cerna have more.
