Mayor Durkan signs law establishing Office of the Employee Ombud

Mayor Jenny A. Durkan, joined by members of the Anti-Harassment Interdepartmental Team (IDT), signs into law her legislation to establish an independent Office of the Employee Ombud. The legislation was unanimously passed by the Seattle City Council on December 10 and will provide City employees the resources to make, respond to, or resolve allegations of workplace harassment, discrimination, or other misconduct.
