Washington state's new millionaires tax could already be facing repeal, if voters approve Initiative 645 on the November ballot. Former Congresswoman Jaime Herrera Beutler, speaking for the "Yes on 645" campaign, argues that this income tax will soon be levied on all Washingtonians. Economic Opportunity Institute Executive Director Rian Watt says repeal of the tax would threaten funding for schools, health care, and other critical public services.
