The Seattle City Council is responding to rising concerns over recent federal immigration enforcement after two deadly shootings involving ICE agents in Minnesota. The Council is also addressing public outcry over newly released SPD body-camera footage from a May 2025 protest at Cal Anderson Park, as well as growing traffic safety concerns as the City’s “Vision Zero” campaign to reduce pedestrian and cyclist fatalities is tested. Councilmembers Alexis Mercedes Rinck and Eddie Lin discuss these issues and answer viewer questions with host Brian Callanan on City Inside/Out: Council Edition.
