One of the most popular services provided at the Seattle/King County Clinic gives people a better view of the world around them. And they’re not just handed a pair of donated glasses that approximate their prescription. At the clinic, patients receive a thorough exam, then an optician helps them select a custom pair of frames. Next, the frames are matched to the prescription and sent to a manufacturer. A few weeks later, people return to the clinic and volunteers help them adjust to their brand new prescription glasses!
