Connecting treatment to cancer patients around the world
CityStream: The Max Foundation

In the past, a leukemia diagnosis in impoverished countries left patients with few options. Bone marrow transplants were inaccessible. Expensive treatments were unattainable. From a modest Seattle office, the foundation has saved countless lives around the world by convincing drug companies to donate costly medication. Penny LeGate speaks to three survivors from African nations who owe their lives to the Max Foundation.
