How can we solve the homeless crisis?
City Inside/Out: Homeless Crisis

The recent annual One Night Count revealed a 21 percent jump in the number of people living on the streets in King County. Are the millions of dollars being spent by local governments on homeless services and shelter working? Should Seattle Mayor Ed Murray's plan for up to three additional city-sponsored tent cities be part of the solution? With a recent tally of nearly 3,800 people found sleeping outside throughout the county, what else can be done to address the growing homeless crisis?

On the show:
Alison Eisinger, executive director, Seattle/King County Coalition on Homelessness
Doyle Griffith, homeless resident
Bill Hallerman, director, Catholic Community Services
Hyeok Kim, deputy mayor of Seattle
Jon Scholes, president, Downtown Seattle Association
