City of Seattle presents MLK Jr. Unity Day featuring Ijeoma Oluo
2/28/20201:51:03

Seattle-based writer and author Ijeoma Oluo leads a timely discussion on race in our country as she delivers the keynote at the City of Seattle's annual Martin Luther King Jr. Unity Day celebration. She honors the legacy of Dr. King's work as she refers to the night as a "celebration deferred," and states "We will celebrate when the work is done." This night honors the legacy of Dr. King, while recognizing that his work has been passed down to each of us.
