Manuel Venegas is one of Seattle's most passionate, outspoken advocates for the civil rights of LGBTQ, HIV positive, and transgender communities. His deep-rooted interest in activism and community education began in high school and has led him to serve on the Seattle LGBTQ Commission and the defeatHIV Community Advisory Board at Fred Hutchison Cancer Research Center. Drawing on personal experience, Venegas shares the challenges he has faced and overcome in this intimate portrait.
