Devon Adelman is determined, she dreams big, and she's never let Down syndrome stand in her way. The 21-year-old Seattle native will compete in the Special Olympics USA Games, July 1-6 at sites across Western Washington. Her specialty is standup paddleboarding. This has been a memorable year for Devon. In addition to her participation in the USA Games, she just got her first job at a Belltown biotech firm. She's also doing some public speaking, sharing her success story with people of different abilities and urging them to reach for their dreams! Good luck at the Games, Devon!
