After 145 entries and a community vote, Seattle artist Stevie Shao has been selected as the winner of the Chinatown-International District Business Improvement Area (CIDBIA) Street Pole Banner Design Contest. Her dragon artwork will soon hang on street poles throughout the CID. The competition is part of a long-term investment in the neighborhood's identity, timed to welcome visitors arriving for the FIFA World Cup. Meet the artist behind the winning design.
