Celebrate Indigenous Peoples' Day with the City of Seattle with speakers, music, and performances on the theme of "Honoring our Elders: Past and Present." In 2014, the City of Seattle first adopted a resolution declaring the second Monday in October Indigenous Peoples' Day, an opportunity to educate people, and to recognize and celebrate the cultures and values of the Indigenous peoples of our region.
