Join teaching artist Shelby Handler and write a poem about remembering what's most important to us in this world. This tutorial includes a warm-up, inspiration by U.S. Poet Laureate Joy Harjo, and plenty of free writing guidance. Here is a link to Joy Harjo reading her own poem. This lesson is great for learners of all ages, particularly youth grades 3-8.
