Should the legal age to buy a semi-automatic rifle be raised to 21? And if your firearm falls into the wrong hands, should you be legally liable? Supporters of Initiative 1639 say the answer is yes, and they are pushing to enact some of the strictest gun laws in the country. But opponents argue the measure will not have any impact on gun violence and will only endanger lawful gun owners.
