Mayor Jenny A. Durkan unveiled a street sign reflecting the "Alan Sugiyama Way" honorary designation. Alan Sugiyama was the founder and publisher of the Asian Family Affair newspaper, a two-term Seattle School Board member, founder and director for 30 years of the Center for Career Alternatives, and a 40-year Beacon Hill resident.
