Former Mayor Mike McGinn signs a resolution designating a Downtown Historic Theatre District to support the preservation, promotion and maintenance of Seattle`s downtown historic theaters. Arts and business leaders, City Councilmember Nick Licata and Ken Kirkpatrick, president of U.S. Bank in Washington, which has a longstanding record of community investment including support of the arts, joined in the resolution signing ceremony at the landmark 5th Avenue Theatre.
