Kshama Sawant’s decision to not run for re-election has triggered the closest race for the Seattle City Council. Voters of District 3, which includes Madison Park, Capitol Hill, the Central District, Eastlake, Madrona, Leschi, First Hill, and Montlake, will decide this fall whether to elect cannabis entrepreneur Joy Hollingsworth or transportation activist Alex Hudson for the next four years.
