Mayor Bruce Harrell shares details of his plans to enhance city beautification and address the surge in graffiti in Seattle through investments in his proposed budget. Efforts will include new and improved initiatives to increase abatement, foster community partnership, and install new public art around the city.

Since 2019, incidents of graffiti reported by the public have grown over 50%, including nearly 20,000 reports of graffiti in 2021.
