Mayor Jenny A. Durkan, staff from the Office of Housing, and community partners, announce new affordable housing investments across Seattle. This investment of $95 million builds upon the over $47 million in affordable housing investments already announced earlier this year, totaling a historic single-year investment of $143 million in 2021.

These investments will support the construction of new affordable multifamily rental housing buildings, the rehabilitation and preservation of existing affordable housing, and the acquisition of a newly constructed building to rapidly create new affordable homes.
