Mayor Jenny A. Durkan and representatives from Seattle Police Department and Seattle Fire Department discuss escalated incidents during today's demonstrations, her Emergency Orders, and the 5:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. curfew. Durkan issued two Emergency Orders, effective immediately in the City of Seattle. The first is an Order declaring a Proclamation of Civil Emergency. The second is an Order banning weapons, both formal and informal.
