Seattle Mayor Jenny A. Durkan delivers her 2020 State of the City address from Rainier Arts Center. In her address, the Mayor discussed Seattle's work to advance our shared progressive values and take important steps to address public safety, expand access to transit, and combat our region's affordable housing and homelessness crisis. In addition, the Mayor announced several new initiatives including an expansion of Seattle Promise Job and Career Pathways, a new Small Business Relief Package, the creation of a second Health One unit, and investments to ensure a complete Census count.
