Mayor Jenny A. Durkan, joined by community members and Uber and Lyft drivers, signed her Fare Share legislation into law on Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2019. Fare Share invests in first-in-the-nation protections for drivers, more housing near transit, and transit projects that will help keep Seattle moving. Mayor Durkan's Fare Share plan was approved yesterday in a 9-0 vote by City Council.
