King County Executive Dow Constantine, Seattle Mayor Jenny A. Durkan, and community leaders announced a series of action steps to remake the regional homelessness response system throughout King County.

In May 2018, Executive Constantine and Mayor Durkan signed a Memorandum of Understanding to assess our current regional homelessness response system, and evaluate ways to increase its effectiveness, reach, and ability to deliver services. Over the last six months, stakeholders and community members reviewed current homeless service systems and studied governance models across the U.S.
