Mayor celebrates groundbreaking for affordable housing in South Lake Union
10/4/2016

Mayor Ed Murray participates in a groundbreaking ceremony for Anchor Flats, a 71-unit affordable housing development in the South Lake Union, led by Bellwether Housing. The building will provide affordable rents for lower income individuals and small families.  Rents will range from $840 to $1200, approximately half of the average current market rents prevalent in the Dexter corridor, South Lake Union, Lower Queen Anne and other core Seattle neighborhoods. These rents are set to be affordable to households with incomes of $31,000 - $37,000 for a single person household and $36,000 - 43,000 for a two-person household.
