Mayor Ed Murray signs resolution calling for prescription drug disposal sites

Mayor Ed Murray signs Council Resolution 31654, directing the City to work with King County Public Health to install prescription drug disposal drop-boxes at City offices. The resolution also urges pharmacies to join the county-wide effort to encourage proper disposal of unneeded prescription medicines to reduce the risk of chemical dependency.
