CityStream: Conscience and Customs
4/19/201826:12

Of Georgetown's many cafes, one is building a loyal following. Maybe it's the choice of 21 different sandwiches all packed with local ingredients. But something else has people coming back, and it's NOT on the menu! For each meal sold, Conscious Eatery provides a meal to a homeless person. So far, it has donated nearly 8,000 meals and counting. Then, we'll take you inside Seattle Dojo, where judo got its start in this country. Despite a whirl of activity, flips and falls, it's a place of reverence where time stands still. And we turn back the clock to the days of silent movies, thanks to the Paramount Theatre. But the real star of the show is below stage! Host Josephine Cheng has these stories from the Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park.
