Ahead of his 2016 City Budget proposal, Mayor Ed Murray unveils the first full year of funding for the Seattle Parks District, which was approved by voters in August 2014. The Seattle Parks District budget will include preventative maintenance projects, expanded programming for youth, adults, and seniors, and acquisition and development of new park space.
