1/18/20181:43:42

StolenYouth, in partnership with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Discovery Center, presents a panel discussion that explores racial, gender and economic inequalities in child sex trafficking. It is estimated that between 300 - 500 children are trafficked each year in Seattle. This issue disproportionately affects children who are unstably housed, victims of sex abuse, economically disadvantaged, and persons of color.

Panelists include:
Yasmin Vafa, Executive Director, Rights4Girls
Peter Qualliotine, Co-Founder & Director of Men's Accountability, Organization for Prostitution Survivors
Shaquita Bell, MD, FAAP, Clinical Associate Professor, Seattle Children's Hospital

Moderators/StolenYouth board members:
Val Richey, King County Senior Deputy Prosecuting Attorney
Susan Long-Walsh, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Senior Recruiter
