It's not seen or heard but it's certainly felt in many neighborhoods. It's hidden hunger. Many hide it out of shame or stigma. Now, that pain is being eased by the collective kindness within a community. Little Free Pantries are the epitome of neighbor helping neighbor. Modeled after the popular Little Free Libraries, people are encouraged to take what they need and give what they can. As Diane Duthweiler reports, providing life's essentials to those struggling to get by builds a sense of compassion and goodwill the entire community can share in.
