For 30 years, the city's Neighborhood Matching Fund has been the driving force behind dozens of community improvements ranging from small neighborhood projects to major renovations at community centers to new city parks. Part of the program's appeal - any resident can apply! All you need is a project idea designed to engage and strengthen your community. Through the years, the fund has been a sound investment for Seattle. Fifty million dollars in grants has generated $75 million in matching funds. Jeff Gentes explains.
