A panel of media experts discusses the role the media play in shaping public opinion and affecting voter actions, particularly in regard to the 2016 Election cycle. The panel discusses the shifting role of traditional media in politics, whether the growing mistrust of traditional media driving more people to rely on "alternative" news sources, if social media is creating an echo-chamber effect that is damaging to public discourse, and more.
