In Seattle's rapidly growing economy, we look at one segment of the workforce that continues to struggle. More than four out of five developmentally disabled people are unemployed nationwide. But a local organization is working to break down barriers to employment. Mainstay Employment Services matches employers with qualified workers who have a physical or mental disability. Mainstay sets employees and employers up for success then continues to provide support if needed. It's a model that's been working for nearly 40 years.
