Seattle Repertory Theatre’s new Managing Director Jeffrey Herrmann discusses theater as a catalyst for civic conversation and community building. Herrmann joined The Rep in summer 2014 to replace longtime managing director Ben Moore. Herrmann discusses the role of the Rep, its future and his career path in theater. Prior to The Rep, he managed Woolly Mammoth Theatre, a midsize theater in Washington, D.C., and served as producing director of Perseverance Theatre in Juneau, Alaska.
