The business of Seattle is pretty complex...from taxes, to building codes and permits, to transportation projects...and the list goes on and on. But when it comes to public safety, lawmakers not only within the city, but also King County, are working hard to curb the recent gun violence. In fact, the municipalities have teamed up to create the Gun Safety Initiative. A major part of the new program is to offer gun buy backs; where citizens can turn in unwanted guns for gift cards. Officials recently held the first buyback and the turnout was a big surprise. Nicole Sanchez has the story.
