Polio was last seen in our country in 1979, so for us, it`s out of sight, out of mind. But polio still exists in remote corners of the world and new outbreaks are happening right now in the Horn of Africa and Syria. Penny LeGate traveled recently with a group of local humanitarians from the Rotary Club to learn why they are willing to go the distance to see a world that is polio free.
