They were never just pets, they were family. This weekend, honor the memory of beloved animal companions at Woodland Park Zoo’s Animal Ofrenda, part of the zoo’s first Día de Muertos celebration. Visitors are invited to remember and celebrate the spirits of departed pets and zoo animals with a special display at the Briar Oak, across from the carousel. If you cannot attend in person, you can still participate by uploading a photo to be included in this heartfelt tribute.
