Alley Cat Project's inspiring story of saving Seattle's strays
Alley Cat Project Works to Improve the Lives of Feral Cats
7/30/20247:31

Seattle is often recognized as one of America’s top cities for cat lovers. Most felines here are pampered by their humans. But there’s a specific assortment of cats that live a dismal existence. Feral cats typically have a short life span, filled with adversity and struggle. A group known as the Alley Cat Project works to give wild cats a better life. The group provides cats with fresh food and also captures feral kittens so they can be spayed and neutered, reducing the overall population. Many of the young cats are also fostered and adopted to loving homes. Jenny Cunningham takes a close look at the work being done by these cat-loving volunteers.
