Community Videos

Each year, the Seattle/King County Clinic welcomes thousands of volunteers to help run this massive community event. Volunteers come from many fields of the medical, dental, and vision care professions. Translators also provide an essential service since patients speak some 50 different languages. Hundreds of other volunteers have no healthcare background whatsoever, yet the assistance they provide is essential. And no matter if the volunteer is a surgeon or a student, none of them receive any compensation for their services. Producer Randy Eng has more.
