Mayor Harrell joins public safety and community leaders for the official launch of the Community Assisted Response and Engagement (CARE) dual dispatch behavioral health response pilot. Speakers detail how the pilot will work, describe the collaborative process with the community that informed this effort, provide updates from the CARE team, and discuss plans for future evaluation of this pilot and next steps for the CARE Department. The responder teams also unveil their new uniform and logo.
