As the Mariners season heats up, the team is going all out to encourage kids of color to participate in America’s pastime. The Seattle Mariners and the organization Baseball Beyond Borders are helping youngsters to learn the game. The Mariners have opened five new training centers around the state. And a scholarship program will allow players from marginalized communities to receive financial and academic support and mentorship. Brian Callanan has more.
