Winemaking is big business in Washington. This state is home to more than 1,100 wineries, with many new ones in the Seattle area. All those wineries need skilled workers to run every aspect of the business, and thanks to the Northwest Wine Academy at South Seattle College, many people are getting hands-on experience. The Academy offers certificates and degrees in wine production, marketing, and sales. Nicole Sanchez reports that Northwest Wine Academy grads are on the payroll at wineries across Washington.
