CityStream: Native Artifacts, Intersection Art & Free Eye Care
9/27/202228:00
Ancient artifacts unearthed from an old Seattle City Light location are found to have Native origins. Now, the utility has engineered a re-connection thousands of years in the making! Spray paint has long had a dubious connection to graffiti and vandalism. But one artist is using aerosol paint to inject a bit of awe at Seattle intersections. And he’s being paid to do it. His stunning art now graces dozens of utility boxes around town. Also, a free vision care clinic is returning after a two-year hiatus. Host Connie Thompson has these stories and more from Seattle Center.
