For young Kenjiro Nomura, Seattle and its growing cityscape fascinated him. That interest led to art, and by the 1920s his modernist paintings won national acclaim. All that ended for the young Japanese immigrant once World War II broke out. He was sent to an incarceration camp and his life was never the same. Fast forward to 1986 and a chance encounter between Nomura's son and art curator David Martin. The son simply wanted some of his dad's work restored. Martin was impressed by the artist's talent and he never forgot. Today, David Martin and author Barbara Johns have revived the art of Kenjiro Nomura - showcasing his work. Producer David Albright has the story.
