1/1/202221:49

What is emotional safety? You might know about physical safety, but how can we be emotionally safe? Auntie Lena teaches Possum that feeling safe means being comfortable with yourself and the way you feel. Look, Listen and Learn with us about feeling safe and how the bravest thing you can do is choose to be yourself!

Tune in to these segments in our latest episode: At the Kent Library, Andersyn and Dr. Thomas with Pacific Medical Centers read "The Boy and The Bindi" by Vivek Shraya, a story about a young boy who learns about the importance of bindis from his mother. Then, Miss Maya makes handprint flowers while teaching about emotional safety at the Nepantla Cultural Arts Gallery. Finally, at the Rainier Beach Urban Farm and Wetlands, Miss MarcKia and her son Braylon make hummus and talk about what makes them feel safe.
