CityStream: Assisting Immigrants & Sound Insight
CityStream: Assisting Immigrants & Sound Insight
11/23/202127:48

As immigrants and refugees adjust to a new life here, many are receiving support from ReWA, the Refugee Women's Alliance. And now, the Seattle Kraken are also doing their part to help newcomers feel connected to the community! Puget Sound is the dominant body of water that unites much of Western Washington, but how much do you really know about the Sound? And a city program encourages residents to get out and get active while enjoying the beauty within Seattle's parks. Host Dennis Bounds has these stories and more from Bloodworks Northwest.
